About us

The Learning Variability Network Exchange (LEVANTE) seeks to understand how children grow, learn, and develop across different times, places, and contexts so that they can be supported to thrive in the multitude of experiences they will encounter throughout life. It brings together researchers from around the world to create the first cross-cultural, multidisciplinary open dataset aiming to capture the richness and diversity of child development and learning.

Our values

Our commitment to equity, innovation, and evidence generation

The LEVANTE consortium is strongly committed to anti-racism, inclusivity, equity, and diversity. In pursuit of these values, we acknowledge the limits of our knowledge, and strive to expand our understanding by attentively engaging with diverse viewpoints and offering thoughtful responses. We remain committed to educating ourselves about how discrimination and systemic oppression have impacted the scientific landscape, and we actively collaborate with individuals and organizations with expertise in anti-racism, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
