The Learning Variability Network Exchange (LEVANTE) brings together researchers from around the world aiming to capture the richness and diversity of child development and learning.
Only by conducting open-access, cutting-edge research can we enhance our knowledge on learning and developmental variability.
Delve into the science of learning variability, explore cutting-edge research, and discover practical insights to enhance learning for all.
Home ยป Who we are
LEVANTE brings together researchers from around the world to improve our understanding of child development and learning. LEarn more abou the core of the network.
LEVANTE is a new flagship initiative by the Jacobs Foundation, thus embodying the Foundation’s Research Agenda on learning variability.
The Data Coordinating Center (DCC) at Stanford University has the mandate to implement and maintain the measurement and data storage frameworks, and to ensure the continued coordination of psychometric analyses to determine validity and norming of the measure adaptations implemented at the different research sites.
The Steering Committee consists of a selected group of widely recognised researchers who are leaders in their fields. They overview the activities of the LEVANTE network, ensuring high-quality standards and alignment with the scientific goals.
The four pilot sites will gather cross-sectional data on the English, Spanish, and German versions of the LEVANTE measures. Each site will aim to collect data from 300 families, stratified across the target age ranges.
